A week before the transfer deadline, foreign players flood the Czech league

Jihlava further strengthened their side with defender Voijtech Kubista coming on six-month loan to the club from Jablonec, and Augusto Batioja moving from Radnički Niš. The Highlanders lost Adam Jánoš, who returns to Sparta after being on loan to the club.

Sparta reinforced their side with Fabrice Picault and Jakub Podaný. However, Sparta lost Josef Hušbauer on loan to Italian club Cagliari, who can exercise the option to retain the player after a year. He is replaced by talented Albanian, Herolind Shala, from the Noweigan club Odds BK.

Another Albanian player, Bekim Balaj ended his tenure at Slavia as he moved to Croatian club Rijeka. Slavia added defensive midfielder Simon Deli and Fernando Neves, who returned from Příbram.

Bohemians are now without the experienced Erich Brabec, but he is replaced by Aleš Škerle, who is on loan from Sigma Olomouc. Bohemians further strengthened their side with with two players from Liberec, Marek Jarolím and Pavol Cicman.

Slovan Liberec will be without Hamuľak and Luboš Kolář, who both returned to their native countries. Příbram also announced a number of departures, among them experienced striker Petr Švancara, who was transferred to German club Waidhofen.

Příbram also cannot count on Zoran Danosk, Levon Airapetian, and Daniel Tarczal. However, the club are also trying out Pavl Fořt and Žižkov striker Lukáš Bodeček, and there is speculation that Roman Bednář may move from Sparta.

Josef Divíšek returned to Příbram from Táborsko, where he was on loan. Ostrava will be without Jan Beránek, Jan Greguš, and Joel Lindpere, but they also announced reinforcements to their side.

Colombian striker Victor Zapata comes to Ostrava as a free agent along with talented midfielder Milan Jirásek. Ostrava also added Matej Sivrič from Mladá Boleslav.

Boleslav will have to do without Mickaëla Tavares, who moves to Sydney Australia, and Milan Lalkovič, who will try his luck at English club Barnsley.

Mladá Boleslav have brought in Igor Subbotin from Estonia to strengthen their attack. The former Levadia Tallinn striker comes to the club together with Gaston Mendy from Rapid Bucharest.

Jablonec also faced an unexpected problem with the departure of experienced striker Tomáš Jun, who requested his contract be terminated and returns to Austria. Luboš Luček similarly left the club after many years of faithful service, moving to Germany.

Baumit, however, have attracted the talents of talented Latvian, Valerijs Sabala, from Brugge. Slovan Liberec brought in Slovak striker Marek Bakoš, who failed to agree terms with Jablonec.

Hungarian midfielder Benjamin Balázs moves to Teplice from Portuguese club, Vitória Guimãraes. In addition, Teplice also gained the talents of Michael Pecháček from Slavia.

Slovácko saw the return of the "prodigal son" Marián Kovář from Jablonec. Kovář spent the autumn part of the season on loan to Jihlava. However, Slovácko also saw the departure of former Malmö goalkeeper, who may be replaced by Michal Daňek from České Budějovice. African striker Francis Kone is trying out for Jablonec.

With the transfer window open for another week, we can expect some interesting arrivals to the SYNOT liga.
