Sparta in third pre-qualification round for Champions League
Sparta secured a spot in the third pre-qualification round of the Champions League as they beat Budějovice 3:1. Jablonec are in the pre-qualification round for the Europa liga after their 4:0 win over Ostrava. Příbram also kept their European hopes alive with a 3:2 victory over Brno.
Sparta found
themselves 2:0 up going into half-time in their match against Dynamo, thanks to
goals from Kadlec and Lafata, his19th goal of the season. Kadeřábek added their second after the break
with Dvořák pulling one back for Budějovice.
On Wednesday, Jablonec take on Liberec in the final of the FAČR Cup. Jablonec made sure of their participation in the Europa liga next season as they beat Ostrava 4:0. Kopic found the back of the net twice with Pernica and Doležal adding the other goals.
Příbram kept their hopes of a place in the Europa liga alive as they beat Brno 3:2. The two sides went into the break at 1:1, but the second-half saw Příbram snatch the match with a penalty four minutes from the end from Fořt.
Boleslav endangered their European hopes with their third draw in a row, this time a 1:1 draw a Slovácko. Došek gave Slovácko the lead in the first-half with Klobasa equalising in the second-half. Should Jablonec win the FAČR Cup, the team finishing fifth will qualify for the Europa liga next season.
Teplice were thumped 5:1 by rivals Dukla, ending any last hopes Teplice had of participating in Europe next season.
Jihlava outplayed Liberec running out 4:0 winners, thanks to goals from Kliment, Mešanovič, Nerad, and Harba. Liberec are still in contention for a place in Europe next season should they beat Jablonec in the FAČR Cup.
Bohemians sprang a surprise as they beat league champions Plzeň 3:2, thanks to a hattrick by Bratanovič.
Slavia were 1:0 winners over relegated Hradec, with the only goal of the game coming from striker Milan Škoda.
